I was a BA at McKinsey in London from 2020-2021, working almost exclusively with private equity, tech, and fast-growth startups.

Prior to McKinsey I had founded an ed-tech startup around the future of work, and knew the goal was to get back to building post-McKinsey - after my time at the Firm, I joined an early-stage fintech startup as their first commercial hire.

Despite the Firm being one of the most startup-talent-heavy places in the world (alumni going on to found companies like DoorDash, Careem, and Go-Jek), there was no formal place for those interested in the startup ecosystem to meet and share notes. Things like this exist for other companies, and X26 is our attempt to bridge that gap by making the founder's journey a little less lonely through our community.
